Harvest and climate

The grapes are picked by hand in late September and early October, except for the Merlot, which is harvested in the first weeks of September.

Fermentation and vinification

Fermentation takes place in vats, at a temperature controlled by a refrigeration unit.

Ageing

It rests for over a year in 29 hl Slavonian oak casks, then ages in bottle for about 3 months.

Tasting notes

Appearance: Intense ruby red with purple reflections. Nose: Good intensity with fruity notes of ripe cherry, blackberry and small berry fruit. Red rose fragrances follow, with a sweet spiced finish. Palate: Soft and full at first, then revealing good freshness and light tannins. A dynamic palate that brings back on the finish the same fruit found on the nose, with an added light, appetising bitter note.
