Gerardo Gondi opens the 2025 harvest as the new President of the Consorzio Chianti Rufina

The 2025 harvest begins with a significant moment for our territory: Gerardo Gondi, owner of the historic Marchesi Gondi – Tenuta Bossi and recently appointed President of the Consorzio Chianti Rufina, officially announced the start of the picking in an interview given to Rai Toscana.
In the video, available at this link Watch the interview on Rai Toscana, Gerardo describes the beginning of the harvest with the white grapes, which traditionally open the picking season.
For the Gondi family, custodians of Tenuta Bossi for 25 generations, the harvest is not merely a moment of production but a true rite that brings together history, tradition and innovation. Gerardo's election as President of the Consorzio Chianti Rufina is an important acknowledgement of the family's commitment to the territory and its wines.
With the start of the picking, a new vintage begins – one that will bring to the glass the very best of Chianti Rufina: freshness, elegance and authenticity.
