Wine Hunter and Poggio Diamante 2019

Another splendid accolade for Marchesi Gondi – Tenuta Bossi: the news comes from Wine Hunter, which has awarded the Bollino Rosso to the Chianti Rufina DOCG Riserva - Terraelectae Poggio Diamante 2019.

It shows a deep, brilliant ruby red with slight violet reflections. Great impact on the nose with fruity and floral notes, among them rose, macerated woodland fruit such as cherry and redcurrant, and notes of orange as well. Sweet spice such as vanilla follows, closing on notes of leather, chocolate and tobacco. The palate echoes the notes perceived on the nose; in particular there is a fresh drive recalling citrus notes such as blood orange and redcurrant, closing with slight hints of liquorice. An elegant wine of real personality, with well-integrated, silky tannins!
