Another splendid accolade for Marchesi Gondi – Tenuta Bossi: the news comes from Wine Hunter, which has awarded the Bollino Rosso to the Chianti Rufina Riserva - Terraelectae Poggio Diamante 2018, a deep, brilliant ruby red with slight garnet reflections. Great impact on the nose with fruity and floral notes, among them rose, macerated woodland fruit such as wild strawberry and redcurrant, and notes of cherry as well. Sweet spice such as vanilla follows, closing on notes of leather, chocolate and tobacco. On the palate, alongside the notes already perceived on the nose, there is a fresh drive recalling citrus notes such as blood orange and redcurrant, closing with slight hints of liquorice. An elegant wine of real personality, with well-integrated, silky tannins!
