Wine Hunter 2024 and Marchesi Gondi

Further splendid accolades are raining down on Marchesi Gondi – Tenuta Bossi: the news comes from Wine Hunter, which has awarded the Bollino Rosso to the Chianti Rufina DOCG Riserva Villa Bossi 2019 and to the Rossi dei Colli Toscana Centrale IGT Mazzaferrata 2019 and Ser Amerigo 2019.

Villa Bossi 2019 is a deep ruby red, with good colour density and light purple reflections. Great impact on the nose, with ripe, macerated cherry and blackberry fruit, followed by sweet, well-integrated vanilla spice with balsamic and toasted shadings. The finish shows notes of chocolate and coffee. On the palate, great structure and character. The wine’s fullness is borne out in the roundness and personality of the tannins. The finish is long, with fruity and mineral notes closing on a pleasing hint of chocolate.
