Marchesi Gondi – Tenuta Bossi wins further accolades: the news comes from the Vitae 2023 guide, published by the Associazione Italiana Sommelier.

Among the excellent scores awarded to the Marchesi Gondi wines, the Chianti Rufina Riserva DOCG, Terralectae Poggio Diamante 2018 and the Rosso dei Colli della Toscana Centrale IGT Fiammae 2018 stand out, both earning three and a half vine shoots, equal to a score of 90/100.

Poggio Diamante 2018 is a deep, brilliant ruby red with slight garnet reflections. Great impact on the nose with fruity and floral notes, among them rose, macerated woodland fruit such as wild strawberry and redcurrant, and notes of cherry as well. Sweet spice such as vanilla follows, closing on notes of leather, chocolate and tobacco. On the palate, alongside the notes already perceived on the nose, there is a fresh drive recalling citrus notes such as blood orange and redcurrant, closing with slight hints of liquorice. An elegant wine of real personality, with well-integrated, silky tannins!
