Further splendid accolades for Marchesi Gondi – Tenuta Bossi: the news comes from Vinum and its Top of Toskana 2023 dossier, which placed the Chianti Rufina DOCG Riserva Pian dei Sorbi 2020 among the TOP 10 – Best of Chianti DOCG.

Pian Dei Sorbi 2020 is a full ruby red with light violet glints. On the nose it shows great personality, retaining a fruitiness with fragrances of ripe fruit, strawberry and cherry, which then opens into sweet vanilla spice, closing with nuances recalling leather and sweet blond tobacco. The entry on the palate is soft and elegant with well-judged tannins and supporting freshness; the finish is markedly savoury, retaining a delicious red-fruit note, cherry in particular, and a clear aromatic harmony with sweet blond tobacco.
