Vinum - Top of Toskana 2017

Marchesi Gondi – Tenuta Bossi wins another special accolade. The news comes from Vinum Extra, which reviewed the finest wines of Tuscany in the article Vinum - Top of Toskana 2017.
In this article, the Riserva Chianti Rufina DOCG Villa Bossi 2011 was awarded 17/20. You will recognise this wine by its appearance: deep ruby red, with good colour density and light purple reflections; nose: ripe, macerated blackberry, followed by sweet, well-integrated spice of liquorice and vanilla with balsamic and toasted shadings. The finish shows notes of cocoa; and finally on the palate: great structure and character. The wine’s fullness is borne out in the roundness and personality of the tannins; the finish is long, with fruity and mineral notes closing on a pleasing hint of liquorice.
