ATT: discovering Tenuta Bossi

The Marchesi Gondi welcome you to the historic Tenuta Bossi estate, which has belonged to the family since 1592. In the heart of Chianti Rufina, an ancient area renowned for its wines since the Renaissance, the Gondi family has been producing wine for 25 generations. Marchese Bernardo Gondi, with his great passion for wine and the age-old knowledge handed down from generation to generation, continues to make wines according to tradition, with hand-harvested grapes and wines that rest in wooden casks in the historic cellar beneath the Villa.

At 4.00 pm Holy Mass will be celebrated in Latin in the villa’s chapel by Canon Don Ivo Wagner of the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest at Gricigliano.
The visit then begins at 5.00 pm in the garden below the Villa, overlooking the vineyards and olive groves of Chianti Rufina, and continues into the cellars. You will discover the history of the area, of the Gondi family and of the estate, always devoted to producing wines of excellence. The tasting includes 3 wines and takes place in the villa’s dining room.
