Vinitaly 2018

Marchesi Gondi – Tenuta Bossi will once again be taking part in the 51st Vinitaly: International Wine and Spirits Exhibition to be held from 9 to 12 April 2017 in Verona. As always, you will find us in the Tuscany pavilion – 9 (formerly 8) – Stand D10, central aisle.

You will be able to taste all our outstanding wines, such as the IGT Rosso Colli della Toscana Centrale, Mazzaferrata 2010 and Ser Amerigo 2009, or the Riserva Chianti Rufina DOCG Villa Bossi 2011 and the Vin Santo del Chianti Rufina Riserva DOC Cardinal de Retz 2005, as well as the wines that will be released in the following months, such as the San Giuliano 2014 Chianti Rufina DOCG, the Sassobianco 2016 Bianco dei Colli dell’Etruria Centrale and the Violana 2016 IGT Colli della Toscana Centrale Rosato.

In particular, you will be able to taste the Super Tuscan (IGT) Ser Amerigo 2009. To the eye: lively ruby red with purple reflections. On the nose: complex, intense, immediately appealing. Varied notes of plum and blackberry preserve emerge, along with spicy hints of liquorice and cinnamon, opening in the glass with nuances of leather and tobacco. On the palate: full, with a refined tannic weave and vibrant savouriness, softened by a generous fruity embrace that lends the whole elegance and balance. The finish reveals balsamic and liquorice aromas.
