“Marchesi Gondi – Tenuta Bossi” will once again be taking part in the 49th Vinitaly International Wine and Spirits Exhibition to be held from 22 to 25 March 2015 in Verona. As always, you will find us in the Tuscany pavilion – 9 (formerly 8) – Stand D10, central aisle.
You will be able to taste all our outstanding wines, such as the IGT Rosso Colli della Toscana Centrale, Mazzaferrata 2008 and Ser Amerigo 2008, or the Riserva Chianti Rufina DOCG Villa Bossi 2010 . Also the wines that will be released in the following months, such as the Vin Santo del Chianti Rufina Riserva DOC Cardinal de Retz 2004, the San Giuliano 2012 Chianti Rufina DOCG, the Sassobianco 2014 Bianco dei Colli dell’Etruria Centrale and the Violana 2014 IGT Colli della Toscana Centrale Rosato.
In particular, you will be able to taste the Super Tuscan (IGT) Ser Amerigo 2008. To the eye: lively ruby red with purple reflections. On the nose: a complex, intense and immediately appealing impact. Varied notes of woodland berry preserve and morello cherry in syrup emerge, along with spicy hints of liquorice and cinnamon, opening in the glass with nuances of leather and tobacco. On the palate: substantial and dynamic at the same time, showing on the one hand the strength, savouriness and freshness of Sangiovese, and on the other the generous fruit of Merlot. The tannins are well integrated and provide a structural framework that makes it a seductive and elegant wine.
