Simpy Italian Great Wines
On 21 October, CHURCH HOUSE WESTMINSTER will host, during Simply Italian Great Wines, 8 seminars led by the respective consortia. At 6 p.m. there will be the Masterclass “The Seven Sub Zones of Chianti” with Emily O’Hare.
For the occasion a horizontal tasting of the 2019 vintage will be staged. For the Chianti Rufina sub-zone, one of the wines of Marchesi Gondi – Tenuta Bossi has been selected: the Chianti Rufina San Giuliano 2019.
This is a deep ruby red. The nose has fine intensity, with rose and violet and fruity notes recalling crisp cherry and raspberry over an aromatic bed of vanilla and hints of black pepper. On the palate it is at first soft and full, then reveals fine freshness and light tannins. A dynamic palate that brings back on the finish the same fruitiness found on the nose, cherry above all, with the spice of black pepper.
