Holy Mass in the Cappella Gondi for Saint Luke 2021

As they do every year, the President of the Opera per Santa Maria Novella, Father Graziano Lezziero, together with the Marchese Bernardo Gondi, arranged a Mass in the Cappella Gondi to mark the anniversary of the laying of the foundation stone of the Basilica, dedicated, like the Cappella Gondi, to Saint Luke; the stone was laid in 1279. The Eucharistic Celebration was presided over by Father Graziano and by Monsignor Timothy Verdon; also present was Councillor Sara Funaro, representing the City of Florence with the Gonfalon
