Holy Mass in the Cappella Gondi for Saint Luke 2020

18 October, 4.00 p.m., Saint Luke. As he does every year, the Marchese Bernardo Gondi, together with the President of the Opera per Santa Maria Novella, Father Aldo Tarquini, arranged a Mass in the Cappella Gondi, marking the laying of the foundation stone of the Basilica on the feast of Saint Luke, to whom both the Chapel and the Basilica are dedicated, which took place in 1279. The Eucharistic Celebration was presided over by His Eminence Cardinal Giuseppe Betori, and the representative of the City Council will also be present with the Gonfalon and the Historical Procession.

The Holy Mass was followed by drinks at Palazzo Gondi.
