Marchesi Gondi at Prowein 2017

Marchesi Gondi – Tenuta Bossi will take part in the 22nd Prowein, International Trade Fair Wines and Spirits, to be held from 19 to 21 March 2017 in Düsseldorf. The estate will be located within the Consorzio Vino Chianti area, Hall 16 stand E51.

It will be possible to taste some of our finest wines, such as the Chianti Rufina DOCG Riserve “Pian dei Sorbi 2012” and “Villa Bossi 2011".

Villa Bossi 2011 shows an appearance of deep ruby red, with fine colour texture and light purple highlights. Nose: ripe, macerated blackberry, followed by a sweet, integrated spiciness of liquorice and vanilla with balsamic and toasted shadings. The finish shows notes of cocoa. And finally on the palate: great structure and character. The wine’s fullness shows in the roundness and personality of the tannins; the finish is long, with fruity and mineral notes closing on a pleasing note of liquorice.
