Marchesi Gondi at Prowein 2016

Marchesi Gondi – Tenuta Bossi will take part in the 21st Prowein, International Trade Fair Wines and Spirits, to be held from 13 to 15 March 2016 in Düsseldorf. The estate will be located within the Winebar of the Consorzio del Chianti.

It will be possible to taste some of our finest wines, such as the Chianti Rufina DOCG Riserve “Pian dei Sorbi 2011” and “Villa Bossi 2010".

A few notes on "Villa Bossi 2010": its appearance is a deep ruby red, with fine colour texture and light purple highlights. On the nose: ripe, macerated blackberry, followed by a sweet, integrated spiciness of liquorice and vanilla with balsamic and toasted shadings. The finish shows notes of cocoa. And finally on the palate: great structure and character. The wine’s fullness shows in the roundness and personality of the tannins; the finish is long, with fruity and mineral notes closing on a pleasing note of liquorice.
