Prowein 2015

“Marchesi Gondi – Tenuta Bossi” will take part for the first time in the 20th Prowein, International Trade Fair Wines and Spirits, to be held from 15 to 17 March 2015 in Düsseldorf. You will find us within the area of the Consorzio del Chianti, Hall 16 stand E31.

It will be possible to taste some of our finest wines, such as the Chianti Rufina DOCG “San Giuliano 2011”, the Chianti Rufina DOCG Riserve “Pian de Sorbi 2010” and “Villa Bossi 2009”, and the IGT Rosso Colli della Toscana Centrale “Mazzaferrata 2008” and “Ser Amerigo 2008”.

A few notes on the Super Tuscan (IGT) Mazzaferrata 2008, from its colour: a dense, compact ruby red. Nose: broad, with beautiful hints of wild berry preserve, sweet oriental spices, balsamic minty notes and opening nuances of leather, coffee and chocolate. Palate: despite its great power, the tannins are perfectly integrated in a wine that comes across as balanced. This richness returns on the finish with long aromatic persistence, faithfully echoing the scents found on the nose.
