MIOOA 2021 and Fattoria Volmiano

Today we received more wonderful news. The oils of Fattoria Volmiano have won several awards at the MIOOA 2021 - Milan International Olive Oil Awards 2021 competition, namely:

The Laudemio di Volmiano in particular is intended as our reading of the unique character of the estate’s land. The property extends over steep slopes given to heroic olive growing, across rocky plateaus and down into cool clay valleys. We want its fresh, elegant aromas of rocket and almond to speak of the opening valleys and of the spring breezes that carry the scent of wild herbs. The bitter notes of artichoke aptly convey the vigour and strength of nature and of the olive trees, which we pursue through respectful agronomic practices. The spiced notes that close the tasting and refresh the palate are born of the high concentration of vitamins in our oil. Because at Volmiano we have chosen to sacrifice the quantity our 22,000 trees would allow us to produce in favour of a singular quality that makes our oil unique and inimitable.
