Mazzaferrata 2015 awarded at Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2020

Marchesi Gondi – Tenuta Bossi has won another accolade: a few days ago we received advance news from the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles.

This year the estate entered Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2020 with the Rosso dei Colli della Toscana Centrale IGT "Mazzaferrata 2015", and this wine was awarded the gold medal.

This wine is an impenetrable ruby red of striking visual impact, with almost violet highlights. The nose is intense and highly complex, opening with black fruit such as blueberry juice and plum before unfolding into spiced and toasted notes. The spice is sweet, with hints of cardamom and cumin, closing on nuances of dark chocolate and sweet tobacco. On the palate it is powerful and rich, the tannins tight and silky. The mouth echoes the fruity notes of blueberry together with the toasted and spiced ones.
