Marchesi Gondi and Merum 2021

Marchesi Gondi – Tenuta Bossi wins another special accolade: the news comes from the magazine “Merum”, which has awarded a heart to the Chianti Rufina DOCG San Giuliano 2018.

San Giuliano shows an intense ruby red colour. On the nose it has a fine intensity, with red rose and violet, and fruity notes recalling crisp cherry and raspberry over a slightly vanilla-scented base with hints of black pepper. On the palate it is soft and full at first, before revealing a good freshness and light tannins. A dynamic palate that brings back on the finish the same fruitiness found on the nose, cherry in particular, along with the black pepper spice.
