Marchesi Gondi and Bibenda 2020

Marchesi Gondi – Tenuta Bossi wins a further series of special accolades. The news comes from the Bibenda 2020 Guide.
The Chianti Rufina DOCG Riserve Pian dei Sorbi 2016 and Villa Bossi 2015, and the Rossi Colli Toscana Centrale IGT Mazzaferrata 2013, Ser Amerigo 2013 and Fiammae 2016, were all awarded 4 grappoli with scores settling around 90/100.
You will recognise the Ser Amerigo by its appearance: lively ruby red with purple reflections; nose: complex, intense, immediately appealing. One perceives varied hints of preserved small red fruits such as wild strawberry, spicy notes of liquorice and cinnamon, opening in the glass with nuances of leather and sweet tobacco; palate: full, with a refined tannic weave and a vivid savouriness, softened by a generous fruity embrace that lends the whole elegance and balance. The finish reveals balsamic and liquorice aromas.
