MARCHESI GONDI AT VINITALY 2023, VERONA

“Marchesi Gondi – Tenuta Bossi” will once again be taking part in the 55th Vinitaly: International Wine and Spirits Exhibition, held from 2 to 5 April 2023 in Verona. The estate will be located, as always, in the Tuscany pavilion – 9 (formerly 8) – Stand D10, central aisle.

It will be possible to taste all our excellent wines, such as the IGT Rosso Colli della Toscana Centrale, Mazzaferrata 2016 and Ser Amerigo 2015, or the Chianti Rufina DOCG Riserva Villa Bossi 2015 and the Chianti Rufina riserva DOCG TERRAELECTAE Poggio Diamante 2019, as well as the wines that will be released in the coming months, such as San Giuliano 2021 Chianti Rufina DOCG, Sassobianco 2022 Bianco dei Colli dell’Etruria Centrale and Violana 2022 IGT Colli della Toscana Centrale Rosato.

In particular it will be possible to taste the Super Tuscan (IGT) Ser Amerigo 2015, which shows a lively ruby red colour with purple reflections. The impact on the nose is complex, intense and immediately appealing. One perceives varied hints of preserved small red fruits such as wild strawberry, spicy notes of liquorice and cinnamon, opening in the glass with nuances of leather and sweet tobacco. On the palate it is full, with a refined tannic weave and a vivid savouriness, softened by a generous embrace of forest-floor fruit that lends the whole elegance and balance. The finish reveals balsamic and liquorice aromas.
