MARCHESI GONDI AT PROWEIN 2024, DÜSSELDORF

Marchesi Gondi – Tenuta Bossi took part in Prowein, International Trade Fair Wines and Spirits , held from 10 to 12 March 2024 in Düsseldorf. The estate was located within the Consorzio Vino Chianti area, Hall 16 stand E57 desk 4.

It was possible to taste some of our excellent wines, such as the Chianti Rufina DOCG riserve “Pian dei Sorbi 2022” and “Villa Bossi 2018".

A few notes on Villa Bossi 2018: to the eye it shows an intense ruby red, with a good colour weave and light purple reflections. On the nose: ripe, macerated blackberry, followed by sweet, well-integrated spice of liquorice and vanilla with balsamic and toasted nuances. The finish shows notes of cocoa. Finally, on the palate: great structure and character. The wine’s fullness reveals itself in the roundness and personality of the tannins; the finish is long, with fruity and mineral notes closing on a pleasant hint of liquorice..
