Marchesi Gondi at Buywine 2020

We at Marchesi Gondi – Tenuta Bossi will once again be taking part in Buywine, held on 7 and 8 February at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence, a most important B2B event organised by the Regione Toscana.

For the occasion it will be possible to taste all our excellent wines, such as the IGT Rosso Colli della Toscana Centrale, Mazzaferrata 2013 and Ser Amerigo 2011, or the Chianti Rufina DOCG Riserva Villa Bossi 2013.

In particular it will be possible to taste the Super Tuscan (IGT) Ser Amerigo 2011, which shows a lively ruby red colour with purple reflections. The impact on the nose is complex, intense and immediately appealing. One perceives varied hints of preserved small red fruits such as wild strawberry, spicy notes of liquorice and cinnamon, opening in the glass with nuances of leather and sweet tobacco. On the palate it is full, with a refined tannic weave and a vivid savouriness, softened by a generous embrace of forest-floor fruit that lends the whole elegance and balance. The finish reveals balsamic and liquorice aromas.
