Marchesi Gondi – Tenuta Bossi gathers further accolades from the celebrated critic James Suckling.

Among the magnificent scores given to the Marchesi Gondi wines, the newcomer stands out: the Chianti Rufina Riserva DOCG - Terrelectae Poggio Diamante 2018, with 91 , the Chianti Rufina San Giuliano 2020 with 90 and the Rosso Colli Toscana Centrale IGT Fiammae 2018 with 90.

Poggio Diamante 2018 is a deep, brilliant ruby red with slight garnet reflections. A powerful nose of fruit and flowers, rose among them, macerated woodland fruit such as wild strawberry and redcurrant, with cherry notes too. Notes of sweet spice follow, vanilla among them, closing on leather, chocolate and tobacco. On the palate, alongside the notes already found on the nose, there is a fresh drive recalling citrus such as blood orange, and redcurrant, closing on light liquorice notes.
