Wine meets cinema, Ciak and Wine 2020

The film season organised by the Tuscany Region, Ciak and Wine, is held at the La Compagnia cinema in Florence on 8, 9 and 10 February. Seven screenings are scheduled, interspersed between 8.00 p.m. and 9.00 p.m. by Wine Experience, a wine tasting session curated by the consortia of Carmignano, Vino Chianti, Chianti Rufina, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano and Vino Vernaccia di San Gimignano.

We at Marchesi Gondi – Tenuta Bossi will take part in this delightful initiative, pouring the Chianti Rufina DOCG San Giuliano 2017. This wine is a deep ruby red. The nose is finely intense, with rose and violet, fruit notes recalling crisp cherry and raspberry over a bed of vanilla and hints of black pepper. On the palate it is supple and full at first, then reveals fine freshness and light tannin. A dynamic palate that returns on the finish to the same fruit found on the nose, cherry in particular, and the spice of black pepper.
