Marchesi Gondi – Tenuta Bossi gathers further accolades, with the news coming from the guide I Migliori Vini Italiani 2022, Luca Maroni.

Among the magnificent scores given to the Marchesi Gondi wines, the Chianti Rufina Riserva Pian dei Sorbi 2018 stands out with 93/100, the Rossi Colli Toscana Centrale IGT Mazzaferrata 2016, with 96/100, the Ser Amerigo 2016 with 93/100 and finally Fiammae 2017 with 95/100.

Mazzaferrata 2016 is an impenetrable ruby red, of great visual impact, with almost violet glints.

The nose is very intense and highly complex, with sensations opening on black fruit such as blueberry juice and plum before turning to spiced and toasted notes. The spice is sweet, with hints of cardamom and cumin, closing on nuances of dark chocolate and sweet tobacco.

The palate is powerful and rich, the tannins tight and silky. The mouth returns the blueberry fruit alongside the toasted and spiced notes. A wine of great personality!
