You will recognise this wine at once: it is amber in colour with intense tawny shades. Great olfactory intensity, with remarkable complexity and breadth of aromas. Soft notes of apricot, dried fig, almond, caramel, candied fruit, date and chestnut honey close on sweet spice and a lightly ethereal finish. On the palate it is sweet, supple and round, both elegant and powerful. The balance is intriguing: a structure carried entirely by an elegant alcoholic note finds freshness in support.
