Another wonderful accolade for Marchesi Gondi – Tenuta Bossi: the news comes from the Guida Vini Buoni d’Italia 2019, which has awarded 4 stars to the Chianti Rufina DOCG Riserva Pian dei Sorbi 2015.

You will recognise it — appearance: deep ruby red with slight violet glints; on the nose: the nose has great personality, keeping ripe fruit fragrances of raspberry and cassis which then open into a sweet spice of vanilla, cinnamon and clove, and close with nuances recalling leather, tobacco and black pepper; and finally the palate: the entry is supple and elegant, with well-judged tannin and supporting freshness; the finish stands out for its savouriness, holding a delicious note of red fruit and a clear aromatic echo of sweet blond tobacco.
