Pian dei Sorbi 2015 is a deep ruby red with pale violet glints. The nose has great personality while keeping a fruity scent of ripe fruit, raspberry and cherry, which then opens into sweet spiced vanilla and cinnamon, closing with shades recalling leather and sweet blond tobacco. The entry on the palate is supple and elegant, with well-judged tannin and supporting freshness; the finish stands out for its savouriness, holding a delicious note of red fruit, cherry in particular, and a clear aromatic harmony with sweet blond tobacco.
