The Riserva Chianti Rufina DOCG Pian dei Sorbi 2018 was awarded 3 stars with a score of 90 points; the Rossi Colli Toscana Centrale IGT Mazzaferrata 2016, Ser Amerigo 2016, Fiammae 2017 were awarded 3 stars with scores of 92, 90 and 90 respectively.

You will recognise the Ser Amerigo by its appearance: lively ruby red with purple highlights; on the nose: a complex, intense and immediately appealing impact. Varied notes of small red fruit preserve such as wild strawberry emerge, with spicy hints of liquorice and cinnamon, opening in the glass into nuances of leather and sweet tobacco; and finally on the palate: full, with a refined tannic weave and vivid savouriness, softened by a generous embrace of fruit that lends the whole elegance and balance. The finish reveals balsamic and liquorice aromas.
