Guida I vini di Veronelli 2021 and Marchesi Gondi

Marchesi Gondi – Tenuta Bossi gathers a further series of special accolades, with the news coming from the Guida I vini di Veronelli 2021.

The Riserva Chianti Rufina DOCG Villa Bossi 2016 was awarded 3 stars with a score of 91 points; the Rossi Colli Toscana Centrale IGT Mazzaferrata 2015, Ser Amerigo 2015 were awarded 3 stars with scores of 93 and 92 respectively; and finally the Vin Santo del Chianti Rufina Riserva DOC Cardinal de Retz 2007 was awarded 3 stars with a score of 92.

You will recognise the Ser Amerigo by its appearance: lively ruby red with purple highlights; on the nose: a complex, intense and immediately appealing impact. Varied notes of small red fruit preserve such as wild strawberry emerge, with spicy hints of liquorice and cinnamon, opening in the glass into nuances of leather and sweet tobacco; and finally on the palate: full, with a refined tannic weave and vivid savouriness, softened by a generous embrace of fruit that lends the whole elegance and balance. The finish reveals balsamic and liquorice aromas.
