Guida Bere Bene 2022 - Gambero Rosso and Marchesi Gondi – Tenuta Bossi

Another wonderful accolade for Marchesi Gondi – Tenuta Bossi: the Guida Bere Bene 2022 published by Gambero Rosso has awarded the Chianti Rufina DOCG San Giuliano 2019 its “Value for Money” prize.

The San Giuliano 2019 is a deep ruby red. The nose is finely intense, with rose and violet, fruit notes recalling crisp cherry and raspberry over a bed of vanilla and hints of black pepper. On the palate it is supple and full at first, then reveals fine freshness and light tannin. A dynamic palate that returns on the finish to the same fruit found on the nose, cherry in particular, and the spice of black pepper.
