Festa a Padre Ugo

On 19 September “La Festa a Padre Ugo, with dinner and a tasting of Chianti Rufina wines” will be held in the cloister of the Church of Sant'Agata in Pietrapiana di Reggello, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The proceeds of the evening, organised by Father Ugo Presazzi in collaboration with the Consorzio del Chianti Rufina and the Associazione Italiana Sommeliers – Florence delegation, will go to the head of the Missione Sacramentina, Padre Ugo Presazzi, in Cameroon, for the building of housing and recreational facilities in the Ekoumdoum district of the Cameroonian capital Yaoundé.
Marchesi Gondi – Tenuta Bossi will take part in the event, presenting for tasting the Chianti Rufina DOCG “San Giuliano 2012”, blend: 80% Sangiovese, 10% Colorino, 10% Merlot, aged for 1 year in 29 hl oak casks. It opens soft and full, then reveals medium freshness and light tannins. A dynamic palate that returns on the finish the same fruitiness found on the nose, crisp cherry in particular, closing with light notes of black pepper.
