DegustaZinfa: Cinta Senese and our wines

On Thursday the 19th at 8 p.m., at the restaurant La Zinfarosa in via Indipendenza in Foiano della Chiana, a tasting dinner will be held built around Cinta Senese pork and the products of Marchesi Gondi – Tenuta Bossi.

In particular, the spiced Cinta Senese tagliata will be paired with the Super Tuscan Rosso dei Colli Toscana Centrale IGT Mazzaferrata 2008. You will recognise this wine by its appearance: dense, compact ruby red; on the nose: ample, with beautiful hints of wild berry preserves, sweet oriental spices, minty balsamic notes and opening nuances of leather, coffee and chocolate; and finally on the palate: despite its great power, the tannins are perfectly integrated in a wine that comes across as balanced. This richness reveals itself on the finish with a long aromatic persistence that faithfully echoes the sensations perceived on the nose.
