Cookstock 2016

From 9 to 11 September Cookstock returns: this year too, good food meets good wine, with the creativity and flavours of great chefs joining the passion of sommeliers and the taste of street food, all set to excellent music.

The event will take place in the main squares of Pontassieve’s historic centre.

For the occasion you will be able to taste some of the wines of Marchesi Gondi – Tenuta Bossi at the restaurant in Piazza XVI Martiri, among them the Riserva Chianti Rufina DOCG "Villa Bossi 2010". You will recognise this wine by its APPEARANCE: intense ruby red, with fine colour density and light purple reflections; NOSE: ripe, macerated blackberry, followed by sweet, well-integrated spice of liquorice and vanilla with balsamic and toasted nuances. The finish reveals notes of cocoa; and finally PALATE: great structure and character. The wine’s fullness is evident in the roundness and personality of the tannins; the finish is long, with fruity and mineral notes closing on a pleasing hint of liquorice.
