CHIANTI LOVERS 2022, MARCHESI GONDI – TENUTA BOSSI PRESENT SOME OF THEIR CHIANTI RUFINA WINES

On 20 March the Fortezza da Basso in Florence will host the Chianti Lovers event, the 2022 preview, from 9.30 am for trade visitors and from 4 pm for the public. Marchesi Gondi – Tenuta Bossi will take part in the event, offering a preview tasting of the Chianti Rufina DOCG San Giuliano 2020 and the Chianti Rufina Riserva DOCG Pian dei Sorbi 2019.

During the event it will also be possible to taste the wines currently on sale, such as the Chianti Rufina Riserva DOCG Villa Bossi 2015: an intense ruby red, with fine colour density and light purple reflections. A striking impact on the nose, with fruit notes of cherry and ripe, macerated blackberry, followed by sweet, well-integrated vanilla spice with balsamic and toasted nuances. The finish reveals notes of liquorice and coffee. On the palate, great structure and character. The wine’s fullness is evident in the roundness and personality of the tannins; the finish is long, with fruity and mineral notes closing on a pleasing hint of liquorice and coffee.
