Chianti Lovers

On 14 February the former Manifattura Tabacchi in Florence will host Chianti Lovers, the 2015 preview, from 4 pm to 10 pm. Marchesi Gondi – Tenuta Bossi will take part in the event, offering a preview tasting of the San Giuliano 2013 and the Pian dei Sorbi 2012.

During the event it will also be possible to taste the wines currently on sale, such as the Chianti Rufina DOCG “San Giuliano 2011”. Its appearance: intense ruby red with purple reflections. On the nose: good intensity, with a sweet attack of raspberry and crisp cherry over a lightly vanilla-scented base with hints of black pepper. And finally on the palate: it opens soft and full, then reveals moderate freshness and a light tannic grip. A dynamic palate that echoes on the finish the same fruit found on the nose.
