Cantine aperte
On the occasion of the 47th TOSCANELLO D’ORO, Marchesi Gondi – Tenuta Bossi is delighted to invite you to the Wine Tastings with Cantine aperte to be held on Friday 3 and Saturday 4 June, from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon and until 6.30 pm.
Among the wines you will be able to taste is the Ser Amerigo 2008, a feminine, seductive and contemporary wine made from a blend of international and native varieties: 40% Merlot, 40% Sangiovese and 20% Colorino.
Appearance: lively ruby red with garnet reflections.
Nose: the wine is complex, showing notes of fruit preserves, cinchona and rhubarb, plum and cherry in particular, which open into successive notes of undergrowth and tobacco.
Palate: of great personality, with a refined tannic weave and a lively savouriness that reveals fine balance, softened by a generous embrace of fruit; the close is balsamic and spicy.
This wine is therefore made of two SOULS: on the nose it offers the sweet, fruity notes typical of Merlot, while in the mouth the persistence and power of Sangiovese come through, so characteristic of the Chianti Rufina territory.
