BIBENDA 2021 AND MARCHESI GONDI - TENUTA BOSSI

Marchesi Gondi – Tenuta Bossi has earned a further series of special accolades, announced in the Bibenda 2021 guide.

The Riserva Chianti Rufina DOCG Villa Bossi 2016, the Rossi Colli Toscana Centrale IGT Mazzaferrata 2015 and Ser Amerigo 2015, and the Vin Santo del Chianti Rufina Riserva DOC Cardinal de Retz 2007 were each awarded 4 grapes, with scores in the region of 90/100.

The taster’s notes for Villa Bossi: full ruby. A nose of fine personality, with echoes of cherries and sour cherries in spirit, autumnal notes of undergrowth and roots, roasted tones and balsamic gusts. The palate shows measured warmth and well-resolved tannins. A lingering finish on sweet spice. Vinified in concrete and matured for 12 months between barriques and large casks.
