Among the outstanding scores awarded to the Marchesi Gondi wines, the Chianti Rufina Riserva Pian dei Sorbi 2018 stands out with 92/100, along with the Poggio Diamante 2018 with 93/100, and the Rosso Colli Toscana Centrale IGT Fiammae 2018, with 94/100.

Fiammae 2018 is a brilliant ruby red in colour. The nose is very intense and of great complexity, opening with red fruit both fresh and dried - cherry, strawberry, raspberry - before moving towards spicy and toasted notes. The spice is sweet, closing with nuances of dark chocolate and sweet tobacco. On the palate it is powerful and rich, with tight, silky tannins. In the mouth the fruity notes of strawberry and cherry return, together with the toasted and spicy ones. A wine of great personality!
