50th Vinitaly in Verona

"Marchesi Gondi – Tenuta Bossi" will once again take part this year in the 50th Vinitaly: International Wine and Spirits Exhibition to be held from 10 to 13 April 2016 in Verona. Our position will be, as always, in the Tuscany pavilion – 9 (formerly 8) – Stand D10, central aisle.

It will be possible to taste all our outstanding wines, such as the IGT Rosso Colli della Toscana Centrale, Mazzaferrata 2009 and Ser Amerigo 2008, or the Chianti Rufina DOCG Riserva Villa Bossi 2010 and the Vin Santo del Chianti Rufina Riserva DOC Cardinal de Retz 2004, as well as the wines to be released in the following months, such as the San Giuliano 2013 Chianti Rufina DOCG, the Sassobianco 2015 Bianco dei Colli dell'Etruria Centrale and the Violana 2015 IGT Colli della Toscana Centrale Rosato.

In particular it will be possible to taste the Super Tuscan (IGT) Ser Amerigo 2008. Appearance: lively ruby red with purple reflections. Nose: a complex, intense and immediately appealing nose. One finds varied hints of berry preserve and amarena cherries in syrup, spicy notes of liquorice and cinnamon, opening in the glass with nuances of leather and tobacco. Palate: important and dynamic at the same time, showing on the one hand the strength, savouriness and freshness of Sangiovese, and on the other the generous fruit of Merlot. The tannins are well integrated and provide a structural framework that makes it a seductive and elegant wine.
